Agency for Change Challenge – Contest Rules

Entry into this contest constitutes your acceptance of these Official Rules.
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win.


The Contest is sponsored by KidGlov, LLC, hereby known in this document as “KidGlov.”


The Contest Winner will be awarded $10,000 in agency services provided by KidGlov. The work must be used for branding, a creative campaign or website design work that will help the Contest Winner to create positive change in the community. Once the Contest Winner is selected, the KidGlov team will meet with designated members of the Winning Organization to discuss the proposed project and create a plan to complete the work that includes an estimate and timeline. If the budget for the proposed work exceeds the $10,000 award, the Winning Organization will be responsible for the difference. All costs will be discussed up front and agreed upon by both parties before work begins. The prize cannot be redeemed for cash value, it must be used for KidGlov’s creative services.

Incidental expenses and all other costs and expenses which are not specifically listed as part of a prize in these Official Rules and which may be associated with the award, acceptance, receipt and use of all or any portion of the awarded prize are solely the responsibility of the respective prize winner. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE IS SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.

Prize is non-transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted. KidGlov reserves the right to terminate, suspend or amend the challenge, without notice, and for any reason, including, without limitation, if it is determined that the challenge cannot be conducted as planned. In the event any tampering or unauthorized intervention may have occurred, KidGlov reserves the right to void suspect entries at issue.


The Agency for Change Challenge is open to for-profit and non-profit organizations within a 100-mile radius of one of the KidGlov office locations (Lincoln, NE; Omaha NE; or Denver, CO) who are affecting positive change. All challenge participants will be required to share information on how they plan to use the award to amplify the work they do, reach a wider audience and create an even greater positive impact.

Participants cannot be current or former clients of KidGlov or Wineman Communications Group.

Contest Timeline

The Contest begins on April 23, 2020 when the application process opens.

Applications will be accepted through 11:59 pm, MST, June 12, 2020. Any applications submitted or accepted after the deadline will not be considered for the award.

All entries will be reviewed, and Finalists will be chosen by KidGlov. The number of Finalists will be determined based on both quality and quantity of qualifying entries received.

Finalists will be notified on or by July 10, 2020. Information on the Finalists will also be shared on social media. During the period July 13-24, 2020, social media followers and other supporters from each Finalist organization will be asked to share comments about the Finalists’ positive impact and why the organization should be selected for the $10,000 prize through identified social media channels.

During the period July 25-30, KidGlov will review all Finalist applications and social media feedback to make the final selection of a Contest Winner on July 31, 2020. The Contest Winner will be notified the first week of August 2020.

Work done for the Contest Winner with the $10,000 in complimentary agency services will commence during September 2020, with all work completed and shared publicly no later than May 2021.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for the $10,000 prize, Participants must complete the online application and submit by 11:59 pm, MST, June 12, 2020. The application requires the following information from the applicant:

Participants must be prepared to complete the desired work with KidGlov between September 2020 and May 2021. By accepting the title of Contest Winner and receiving the complimentary agency services, the Participant agrees to allow KidGlov to share updates publicly throughout the process and to showcase final work developed with the marketing agency dollars.


All eligible entries will be judged by a panel selected by KidGlov to determine the Finalists and one (1) Contest Winner. Judging will be done under the direction of KidGlov, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to the Contest.

Winner Notification

The Contest Winner will be notified by email or phone by 11:59 pm, MST, on July 31, 2020. The Winning Organization will have five (5) working days to accept the award and agree to the terms and conditions. If the Contest Winner does not respond within the given timeframe, they will forfeit the prize and a new Contest Winner will be selected and provided the same timeframe to accept.

The potential winner may be required to return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Prize Acceptance Form and IRS W-9 form. If a potential winner fails to comply with these Official Rules, that potential winner will be disqualified. Prizes may not be awarded if an insufficient number of eligible entries are received.

Compliance and Disqualification

The Contest Winner will be expected to comply with contest rules throughout the process. If at any given time the Contest Winner does not comply with contest rules, KidGlov has the right to award the prize to an alternate organization who meets the criteria and agrees to abide by challenge rules. Violations include, but are not limited to:

–  Discovery that Contest Winner submitted false or misleading information in their application

–  Discovery that Contest Winner has previously or currently been involved in any public scandal or legal action that would discredit them or KidGlov as professional and law-abiding members of the community

By participating in the contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understands that the results of the contest, as determined by Sponsor and its agents, are final in all respects. The contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

Release and Limitations of Liability

By participating in this challenge, entrants agree to release and hold harmless KidGlov from or against any claim or cause of action arising from the contest work.


Each Participant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest and the prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. KidGlov has the final say in issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the contest rules, Participants’ rights and obligations or the rights and obligations of Sponsor in connection with the Contest.


Information collected from Participants becomes the property of KidGlov. KidGlov will not share any contact information with other organizations. The Contest Winner will be required to give KidGlov rights to share information on their project and the work being completed as a result of the prize awarded.
