Kicking Up Our Heels for Generosity
In 2018, Dreamweaver Foundation asked KidGlov to envision an annual fundraising event like no other. We created “Boots & Buckets” to engage their audience in a fun way: attendees don their favorite boots and make bucket list wishes for older adults come true.
Previous results have been magical, but year six proved to be downright enchanting, with an amazing $1.3 million raised in a single night – more than doubling the total from the year before.
Stunning collateral, social and digital media, and a unique boot-shaped invite created a fairytale effect that filled over 620 seats. We even reduced invitation costs 82% from the previous year. Best of all, Dreamweaver Foundation gave hope and connection to 264 more seniors and their families.

A Million Reasons to Celebrate
KidGlov analyzed five years of data to create an extraordinary event that helped make more dreams come true for older adults. We collaborated with Dreamweaver to set strategic goals, then executed on their behalf.
Little did we know we’d be checking off a major item on KidGlov’s nonprofit marketing bucket list – helping a partner raise more than $1 million dollars – while promoting their mission of uplifting older adults in need.
Not only did KidGlov’s expertise help Dreamweaver raise a significant amount of money in a single night, but it also provided a template to reach a wider audience for years to come. Now, that’s something we’ll raise a glass to. Cheers!
