About the Campaign
When Lancaster Event Center Fairgrounds (LECF) was chosen to host the 2021 National High School Finals Rodeo (the largest rodeo in the world), they turned to KidGlov to round up a monumental promotional campaign.
Similar to a rider on a honker, the KidGlov team strapped in for a wild ride. We had to reach three key audiences on a local and national level to ensure the best turnout: rodeo competitors’ families and fans, rodeo enthusiasts in contiguous states, and local spectators.
Our measurable goals included:
- Generate over 20 million impressions with national and regional media coverage
- Generate over 10 million impressions with digital and social media
- Sell more than 1,400 wristbands and the 1,200 onsite campground spaces

The world’s largest rodeo turned out to be a monumental win for LECF, the community, and the state. A local newspaper article stated, “As pickups with out-of-state plates roll from Lincoln, towing horse trailers and carrying cowboys and cowgirls with starched jeans headed in all directions, local business leaders are taking stock of the economic boot print the National High School Finals Rodeo left behind.”
